  • Condensed Matter and Cold Atoms

We are applying numerical methods to strongly correlated physics in cold atomic and condensed matter systems. We are interested in open systems, entanglement properties, dimensional crossovers, supersolids and Helium-4, and also disordered systems. more

  • Numerical Methods for Many-Body Systems

We are working on the development of new algorithms suitable for strongly correlated systems. These include advances in (diagrammatic) Monte Carlo methods and the dynamical cluster approximation (DCA). Often a strong analytical component is required to make progress. more
