WP1 Differential Geometry (K2)
The module covers the following topics: Manifolds, vector fields and flows, Lie groups and Lie algebras, tensors and differential forms, vector bundles and connections, Riemannian metrics and curvature, model spaces of constant curvature, homogeneous spaces, Einstein manifolds. The main goal of the module is to become acquainted with the basic concepts of modern differential geometry and some of its physical applications.
