WP12 Quantum Electrodynamics (TB1)

The module covers the following topics: Canonical quantization, Klein-Gordon and Dirac fields, gauge principle and QED Lagrangian, S-matrix, Feynman rules, basic QED processes, radiative corrections The module aims to convey a detailed understanding of QED and the ability to perform concrete perturbative calculations of elementary processes.
