Quantum Computing for High-Energy Physics (QC4HEP)
26.02.2026 – 27.02.2026
The next Quantum Computing for High-Energy Physics (QC4HEP) working group in-person meeting will be held at the Arnold Sommerfeld Center for Theoretical Physics at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich on February 26-27, 2026.
Initiated by IBM, CERN, and DESY, QC4HEP strives to bring about a strong synergy between quantum computing (QC) and high-energy physics (HEP). This entails harnessing the power of QC for HEP applications that can enable quantum computers to serve as venues complementary to dedicated particle colliders, while simultaneously exploring the suite of HEP phenomena that can facilitate quantum advantage on a quantum computer.
Please register at this Indico page by January 30th, 2026. Preference in admission will be given to QC4HEP and MCQST members.
Main organizer: Jad Halimeh (LMU Munich, MPQ)
