(19.05.) Probing black hole microstates with CFT techniques

The microstates of the Strominger-Vafa black hole can be analyzed by using the AdS/CFT duality. I will focus on interesting CFT observables that capture some properties of the geometry dual to the heavy operators representing the black hole microstate. In particular I will discuss the 1 and the 2-point functions of protected operators and the entanglement entropy of an interval with the aim of characterizing the differences between the thermal results and those obtained in presence of pure heavy states.
