An ODE solver for the solution of the nonlinear Heisenberg-Euler equations

In the paper an ODE-based numerical solver for the Heisenberg-Euler equations is investigated. Comparision with analytical benchmark calculations is made. The solver is highly accurate and conserves energy-momentum.
