Abstract:

We discuss the structure of 2-> N amplitudes in QCD and gravity in the Regge limit of very high energies and fixed momentum transfer, and discuss
a quantitative correspondence (a double copy) in their structure. These results are reproduced for gluon shockwave scattering in QCD and ultrarelativistic black hole collisions in gravity.
We outline an emergent Goldstone picture of this dynamics in both theories. In QCD, this physics can potentially modify well-known renormalization group equations at high order.
