Title: Large charge to rescue

Abstract:
Understanding systems with large occupation numbers is challenging due
to the failure of perturbative methods, even at small coupling
constants. Conformal field theories present one example of systems with
large charges that admit analytic treatment. In this talk, I will
provide an overview of recent results in investigating CFTs in sectors
with large charges. The main observation is that in this regime, states
can be universally described in terms of a conformal superfluid, thus
allowing for the use of standard effective field theory methods. I will
demonstrate how this approach can be successfully used to access
Euclidean observables (dimensions and fusion coefficients) and will
present the first steps in addressing Lorentzian correlators.
