Supersymmetric sigma models and Hermitian geometry

The target space geometry of two dimensional supersymmetric sigma models comes equipped with a Hermitian structure. I will review how this Hermitian structure depends on the amount of supersymmetry and how interesting geometrical relations can be obtained by requiring consistency of one-loop computations in superspaces with various amounts of supersymmetry.
