Winter Conference `Quantum Matter: Computation Meets Experiment’ 3/2020, Aspen, Colorado, USA

09.03.2020  -  13.03.2020

We are happy to announce the upcoming 2020 Aspen Winter Conference on `Quantum Matter: Computation Meets Experiments’. The conference will be held at the Aspen Center for Physics in Aspen, Colorado March 9-13, 2020. It follows immediately after the March 2020 American Physical Society Meeting, which will be held in Denver, CO. March 2-6. We hope the conference will be a very special event, bringing leading scientists together to focus on physics questions of current interest where developments in theory, computation and algorithms combine with recent progress in experiment to bring new insights to our field. Conference sessions will typically focus on a particular physics topic, and will feature a keynote talk by a leading experimentalist and one or more talks by computationally-oriented theorists, aiming to highlight areas of complementarity between theory and experiment in recent and potential future research.
