How to find the  Physics Department (ASC)


The workshop takes place at the Physics Department of the University of Munich  
( Arnold  Sommerfeld  Center for  Theoretical  Physics ).
This building (see picture) is located at Theresienstraße 37 (tower A = first block from east)
The talks are held in this building in the seminar room A348/349.

Building


From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof):
Take any Tram or any S-Bahn  with direction "Karlsplatz/Stachus" until  station "Karlsplatz/Stachus".
At "Karlsplatz/Stachus"  get out and change into Tram Nr. 27 (direction "Petuelring"). Go until the station "Pinakotheken"     (3 stations). Get out there and you will see the building.


From the airport (Flughafen) by public transportation:
Take the S-Bahn (S1 or S8) with direction City Center ("Richtung Innenstadt") until station "Karlsplatz/Stachus"
At "Karlsplatz/Stachus"  get out and change into Tram Nr. 27 (direction "Petuelring"). Go until the station "Pinakotheken"     (3 stations). Get out there and you will see the building.

 
 Alternative:  
 i)  Take a taxi (this is approx. 50 Eu from the airport)   
                              
 ii) At the Airport take the  Lufthansa Airport Bus  (40 Minutes and 9,50 Eu one way & 15 Eu both ways).
     This brings you to Hauptbahnhof. Then proceed like above.
