Multicritical behavior in systems with competing order parameters from functional Renormalization Groups flows

In this talk I will present the functional Renormalization Group method. I will apply it to three-dimensional systems with multiple order parameters, i.e., field theories with I O(N I ) symmetry. I will review result from the case with two and three order parameters, and will then discuss extensions to the case of larger number of competing orders.
