Near-threshold Feshbach resonances

Feshbach resonances have become the major tool for controlling interatomic interactions in the physics of ultracold quantum gases. For deep interatomic potentials with attractive tails, we present an energy-independent parametrization of such a resonance to reveal its impact on the scattering properties as well as on the bound state spectrum. Furthermore, this parametrization provides an explicit separation of channel-coupling effects from the influence of "background" properties of the uncoupled system.
