Fall school on advanced algorithms for correlated quantum matter

The purpose of the school is to offer a thorough pedagogical introduction to modern algorithms for correlated quantum matter such as the Density Matrix Renormalization Group, Tensor Network methods such as PEPS, Quantum Monte Carlo methods for spins (SSE) and fermionic systems (CT-QMC, BSS), and modern, large-scale exact diagonalization methods. Selected applications including topological states of matter, systems coupled to bosonic baths in and out of equilibrium as well as doped Mott insulators will be discussed.
Doctoral students and researchers are encouraged to apply to participate. The application deadline is August 1, 2013. Applications can be made on the webpage listed above. There will be a participation fee of 100€, which includes participation in the social program including a dinner and an excursion. A limited number of contributed talks and posters will be available.
