Special Cosmology Seminar: "Infrared divergences in de Sitter spacetime"

Dmitry Podolsky (University of Helsinki)

25.11.2008 at 16:00

For our journal club next week (Tuesday, 25th of November at 16:00), we'll have a special seminar:

"Infrared divergences in de Sitter spacetime" by Dmitry Podolsky (University of Helsinki).

Abstract

I consider the n-point functions of a self-interacting scalar field in de Sitter spacetime. These n-point functions receive loop corrections, which have logarithmic divergences. I will explain how the procedure for renormalizing these divergences is related to the picture of eternal inflation.
