Workshop:    Twistors, perturbative gauge theories, supergravity and superstrings

Munich, June 18 -22, 2007

Outline of the workshop:

Twistor space is the representation space of the spinor representation of the conformal
SU(2,2) group, originally proposed by Penrose as an alternative description of
four-dimensional spacetime. One of its recent applications, twistor superstring theory
provides important insight into the structure of perturbative gauge theories.
The workshop will focus on topics related to twistors, perturbative gauge theories,
supergravity and superstring theory and is aimed to setup interactions between
people working in those areas.
