Dear RTN Colleagues,

As you all know, we have promised in the proposal a network meeting to take
place every year. In reaction to our RTN report submitted in July, the
project officer Dr. Monk also included the following feedback:

"As I recall from the project plan, annual one-week dedicated
network meetings were due to take place. I note that so far there has was a
meeting in Trieste with one day dedicated to the RTN. Please can the network
inform me when the next network meeting is taking place? Such an event is
especially valuable for those young researchers who have recently joined the
network and wish to get to know the other members."

Therefore we would like to organize a network meeting in
Munich this November. Our proposal is
 
A: Thursday to Saturday, 20-22 November,

but

B: Thursday to Saturday, 13-15 November or
C: Thursday to Saturday, 27-29 November

are also possible options.

We suggest to

1. start the meeting on Thursday afternoon after lunch (at 14:00)
   and end on Saturday afternoon just before lunch (13:00), with a
   not extremely crowded daily program, to leave some time
   for discussions. This would allow for travelling to Muenich
   on  Thursday morning and leaving on Saturday afternoon.

Alternatively, we could just meet for two full days, either

2. from Thursday morning to Friday evening or
3. from Friday morning to Saturday evening.

Our plan is to offer an opportunity for the young researchers to give a 35+10
minutes talk, as part of their training. Of course, the senior researchers
are also welcome to give talks.

Since we have not much time to organize this meeting, please let us know your
preferences  (A, B or C and 1, 2, or 3) by the beginning of next week.
Silence would be considered as agreement with  A and 1.
Please also indicate by name which of your group members would be
attending, so that we know how many people to expect.
