At the Chair of the Theoretical Solid State Physics we invite applications for the following positions:
Our group deals with a broad range of topics, including:
• quantum transport through mesoscopic and nanostructured systems
• strong electron correlations
• nonequilibrium phenomena
• spintronics
• physical implementations of quantum computation and decoherence.
The group's research at the Arnold Sommerfeld Center for Theoretical Physics and the Center for NanoScience is embedded in a number of collaborative research networks with strong links to other theoretical and experimental groups in Munich and beyond, such as the cluster of excellence "Nanosystems Initiative Munich" (NIM) of the German excellence initiative “The Munich Quantum Center”.
